We're delighted to share the news that today, Ada finished 2nd at Trust Sports Day!
Our best result yet and testament to outstanding performances, effort, and commitment from all involved.
Students were fantastic throughout the day, giving their best effort in every event and supporting one other to do the same. Many of our students also stepped up in the absence of others "taking one for the team" (phrase of the day) to compete in extra events where they didn't feel confident to begin with.
By the end of the day students had pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones, overcome nerves and learned a lot about themselves in the process. They represented our school with real pride and commitment.
It's difficult to single out individuals when it was a real team effort, but a few performances that stand out are:
- Geronimo - 1st in 100m, top 3 in all his other events
- Luca - 1st in 100m
- Qamara - 2nd 100m
- Isabella & Cleo - 1st and 2nd in 800m
- Edward P - 1st in 800m
- Jonathan - 2nd in 200m
- Jeremy - 2nd in 800m
- Massi - competed in numerous events for Ada to ensure we didn't lose points through non-entries
- Gracie - top 2 finishes in all running events
- Sofia G - incredibly enthusiastic and willing to give everything a go - some great placements, she is so competitive!
- Omo, Isabel, Bea - such positive role models in the 6th form, genuinely helpful and kept us all in check!
