For entry into Year 7 for September 2019 Ada Lovelace CofE High School has an agreed admission number of 125 students. All applicants will be admitted if 125 or fewer apply. Oversubscription criteria will be applied if more than this number apply.
After receiving feedback from a range of people with an interest in the new school, Trust Directors decided that the school should have an 'open' admissions policy (oversubscription criteria) as opposed to one based on faith criteria.

Applications for these Specialist Scholarship Language Places will be electronic and made using this form from 1st September 2018 (deadline for submission 12 noon on 28th September 2018). Parent(s) must also fill in their home local authority's Common Application Form.
Applications for a Specialist Language Scholarship place for entry into Year 7 in September 2019 must be completed by 12:00 PM on Friday 28th September 2018. (NOW CLOSED).
There will be a single Specialist Language Assessment Day for Specialist Language Scholarship Places at William Perkin Church of England High School and Ada Lovelace Church of England High School. This Assessment Day will be held at William Perkin Church of England High School after school on Monday 1st October 2018. This is the ONLY assessment session and late applications will NOT be accepted.
Arrangements for applications for the remaining places will be made solely in accordance with the Local Authority’s co-ordinated admission arrangements and should be made on the Home Local Authority Common Application Form.
The Academy Trust will use Ealing Council’s timetable for applications each year, which fits in with the timetable for the co-ordination of admission arrangements within London. Unsuccessful applicants have a statutory right to appeal for a place at the Academy. See details in Appeals section below. Appeals will be heard by a panel which is independent of the Academy and the Governors.

The Year 6 into 7 appeal hearings will be held at Twyford Church of England High School and take place in June each academic year.
Applicants have the right to appeal against the decision of the Ada Lovelace Governors' Admissions Panel, not to admit their child to the school. To lodge an appeal with an independent admissions panel, parents and carers will need to complete a Notice of Appeal form (available here from March 2019).
On time applicants (Round 1) can submit a Notice of Appeal Form by Friday 5th April 2019.

From 1st September 2018, In Year Admissions will be open for Year 7 students only and will be subject to the Admissions Policy for September 2018 entry which can be found here.

In Year applications for the Specialist Music Scholar programme should be submitted online before the 1 st September. In-Year Specialist Music applicants will sit the Musical Aptitude Test in September during the Year 6 into 7 sessions.

If a place cannot be offered at the time of application, you will placed on a waiting list. Applications will be ranked in accordance with the oversubscription criteria set out for the current academic year and not in the order in which the applications are received or placed on the waiting list.
If a place becomes available the oversubscription criteria for the current academic year are reapplied to all those on the waiting list and a subsequent reordering of the waiting list may take place.
Applicants are removed from the list on 30th June each academic year.
Waiting lists for in year applications for the 2019/20 academic year will be assembled by Friday 13th September 2019. Should spaces become available in September 2019, offers will be made shortly after 13th September so please ensure your application is submitted on time.
Visiting the School
Ada Lovelace is unable to facilitate personal tours throughout the academic year.
Ada Lovelace hosts an Open Evening during each Autumn term for Year 6 into 7 pupils. Whilst hosted on the William Perkin school site, the Open Evening will consist of Headteacher talk only. This will provide insight into the school’s history, ethos and community in addition to our curriculum, pastoral and wider learning opportunities and an update on the building project.
Outside of this specified event, Ada Lovelace is closed to the public and is unable to host personal tours throughout the academic year.
