Ada Lovelace students presented at the ASCL conference (Association of Schools and College Leaders) for strategic leadership of languages yesterday. They spoke about languages they learn at school and speak at home, reflecting eloquently on the importance of learning languages for broadening horizons and learning about new cultures.
The students received lots of positive comments from the Conference organisers and NCLE:
'Thanks to the pupils from Ada Lovelace school for getting the day off to a great start, sharing their thoughts on what languages means to them: languages are a gateway to other cultures'
'Thank you so much for joining us at the Conference yesterday. We're really pleased you enjoyed the experience, and we thank you too for sharing your views on the importance of languages so eloquently'
