Ada Lovelace were lucky enough to have another visit from the annual Lent Labyrinth prayer and reflection installation in the beautiful chapel and LRC. The Lent Labyrinth is a creative prayer and reflection installation focussed on Lent and enabling students to engage with issues in the wider world as well as reflecting on their own choices and identity. It was a really lovely experience and something students (and staff!) get a lot out of.

Each Year 7 class spent one period during the week in the Lent Labyrinth exploring all the exciting activities. Year 7 students made paper chains to express our unity and compassion for another, they wrote down things they were sorry for and then shredded the paper as a symbol of forgiveness and being a fresh start, their drew around their hands and wrote something they are proud of about themselves inside their hand print, they silently reflected whilst looking at the bubble lamp and thinking about what they hope for and so much more…

It was really fun, creative and interactive and students got stuck in thoughtfully and sensibly. It was a very enjoyable time for all involved! A particular thank you to Father David for setting up, facilitating and leading the Lent Labyrinth and to all the Year 7 teachers who brought their classes in to participate.
