On Thursday a group of students in Year 10 were invited to visit Oxford University for a STEM themed afternoon. Students were treated to a tour of St John’s College, a 3-course meal in a Hogwarts style dining hall, and an exciting Chemistry workshop. Our students worked against the clock to crack the codes to unlock the antidote needed to treat the poisoned professor, and impressed current PhD students with their graceful but fierce competition! Special shout out to Marisa, Katie, Emma and Laura who worked brilliantly as a team to crack the codes within a record breaking time. We are looking forward to running this trip again in the future for students who were unable to secure a place this time.
