Last night the Summer Arts Festival took place at school and despite being a typical British summer it certainly did not dampen the spirits. Our community was brought together by the showcasing of our students' amazing talents. Parents were greeted by the incredible Art exhibition where students proudly displayed their paintings and graphics work. This was followed by a buzzing cafeteria where our PTA treated us to refreshments and our Science/MFL/English/Science/Maths and Computing departments set up stands of fun for all to enjoy. Mr Newsted and our year 8 students also did tours of our very special Ada Garden. To finish the evening our students confidently took to the stage captivating the audience from beginning to end with their musical/dance talents. In between all of this we celebrated our sport students with a short awards ceremony. What a night!
