Last week all of our Year 10 students were engaged in a workshop which was led by IBM. We are so grateful to our IBM partners who sent 25 of their young IBMers over to run a workshop on Presenting with Purpose.
The purpose of the workshop was to teach our Year 10s to be able to understand positive nonverbal communication through awareness of body movements, posture, eye contact, appearance, voice and facial expressions. This is particularly relevant to this year group as they begin to consider career choices and work placements.
During the workshop the students logged on to SkillsBuild to begin working on their Professional Skills badge.
