On Friday 23rd September a group of our keen female cricketers were able to travel to Lords to have a tour of the ground and observe the England Women’s Team training session ahead of their ODI against India on Saturday 24th.
The Girls also had the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with some of the players asking them about their routes into cricket, career highs and lows, how they feel as professional female athletes as well as asking what they had for lunch and if any of them had a dog.
Finally to finish off the day the girls had a quick game of cricket against our friends at William Perkin in the indoor cricket centre and can now all say they have played cricket at Lords.
What a fantastic day!
